New Survey: America’s Nonprofits in Danger

The Nonprofit Finance Fund just published a survey on how the economic downturn is affecting nonprofits’ current and long-term finances. Their conclusions are scary. According to the executive summary,

Only 12% expect to operate above break-even this year.

Convio’s 2009 Online Fundraising Benchmark Report

Convio has released a new online fundraising benchmark report that is based on data from 600 of Convio’s nonprofit clients from January 1, 2008 to December 31, 2008.

Do New Online Donors Give Again?

A new study released by Blackbaud’s Target Analytics division suggests that first-time online donors do not become recurring donors. The study of 24 national nonprofits found that people who make a first-time gift online often don’t make subsequent online gifts to the charity (although some give through other means).
