Monetizing My Social Network
Last month I posted about how Facebook was making money by datamining my friends. Today I received spam from a site called Frens Zone that will allow me to make money off my social network. I can
earn instant cash by just referring your friends. The more you referred, the more you earn. You are rewarded with valuable points whenever you post photos, videos, blogs, comments. You even earn points when other members view your profile. Accumulate these points to exchange for cash and attractive merchandises
This just feels smarmy. But maybe I'm being small-minded. Why should Facebook make all the money, just because they built a cool app that people actually want to use?
